This platform uses UPS tracking tracking number to identify and track shipments moved through the UPS Innovations network and the United States Postal Service, which is in charge of the final delivery. You can track your UPS mail innovation shipments through ups.com and upsmi.com. This type of tracking is different from a small reference number in length and terminology.

The formats in which UPS Mail Innovations tracking numbers appear are as follows:
|United States Postal Service Delivery Confirmation Number||It is a 22 to 34 numeric identification number assigned by the United States Postal Service whenever a deliver confirmation is requested|
|Sequence Number (MMS/MMI Number):||This contains an 18-digit number assigned internally by UPS Mail Innovations or UPS World ship|
|Mail Innovations Complaint Package ID||It is a type of identifier in form of barcode assigned by the shipper to each mail piece, using the structure: MIXXXXXXNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN|
The indicator is made up of these three components:
- MI – It is a UPS Mail Innovation indicator
- XXXXXX – is a unique 6-digit customer number assigned by UPS Mail Innovations
- NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN – This is a unique number made up of 22 characters, usually assigned by the shipper as a means to identify a mail piece. It is in alpha and/or numeric characters with no symbols or spaces.
Note: The ID must not be reused for other mail pieces for at least the period of 6 months.
